Time to Dive!
Herts Dive Club had a great weekend at Stoney Cove. We had a number of Open Water students finishing their course.
It was also a club weekend and it was great to see so many members, old and new, turn out to dive. Navigation was very much the theme of the weekend, with members setting themselves, and each other, compass challenges to navigate the underwater attractions at Stoney Cove. The club Divemasters did some orientation dives for members who were visiting the site for the first time and those that were using new equipment.
Saturday night was a social night and a chance for everyone to relax and have a well deserved meal together. There was a birthday surprise for Nikki, our club secretary, with a fantastic scuba-themed birthday cake!
The weekend ended on a high on a very sunny Sunday afternoon. It was a hugely successful weekend for 5 new Open Water Divers. Congratulations to them for all the hard work they put in.
The Herts Dive Club dive team also worked extremely hard over the weekend with so many divers attending – but everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. This is what the club is all about!
We are looking forward to our next club trip, which is to Weymouth next month.[cro_video no=”https://youtu.be/Zo5tyvJPtiw”]
