Herts Dive Club will be welcoming Mark Powell on the 29th April to give a presentation on DCI and why divers make mistakes. The talk starts at 7.30pm and is open to all club members.
About Mark Powell
Mark Powell has been diving since 1987 and has been teaching since 1994. He has been a full time technical diving instructor since 2004 and teaches exclusively for Technical Diving International. He is a contributor to Sport Diver Magazine in which he writes a regular column on technical diving.
In 2008 Mark published Deco for Divers, a widely acclaimed overview of the theory and physiology of decompression. This has quickly become the standard text on the subject and is recommended reading by a number of the technical diving agencies.
Mark is a well respected and leading figure in the diving community and we are very lucky to have him take time out and share his experience with the club. Following the talk there will be an opportunity to ask questions. This promises to be a great evening and we look forward to seeing club members at the Hatfield Swimming Centre.
