Herts Dive Club is delighted to announce that it is now a certified PADI Recreational Dive Facility (store number 25836) having recently passed the various requirements set out by PADI.
This process lasted several months and covered all aspects of the club in terms of its classroom and training facilities as well as looking at the club’s ability to provide services such as air fills. By becoming a PADI Recreational Dive facility (The only one in Hertfordshire) the club is now able to offer the full range of PADI courses to a wider audience such as schools, colleges as part of a recognised training programme.
This recognition from PADI follows a period of continued investment by the club which has continued to build since it was formed some 9 years ago.The club ethos is that it focuses on making sure that all revenues it receives from courses or membership fees is invested back into the club in order to improve member benefits and club equipment.
Commenting on the achievement, Club Chairman Steve Jellis said:
“I am delighted that we were able to meet all the required standards set out by PADI in order to achieve this status. This will benefit our members greatly as well as opening further opportunities to the club. We are very lucky to have a highly experienced instructors and a dedicated team from across our membership that means we are able to continue to grow.”
